Private Notary

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 11 September 2026

PRIVATE NOTARY is designed around a simple privacy principle: We do not ask you to trust us with your document. We do not want it. This Privacy Policy explains how EuronLab OÜ processes personal data when you use PRIVATE NOTARY.

1. Data Controller

EuronLab OÜ
Järvevana tee 9, 11314 Tallinn, Estonia
Registry code: 17397125
VAT ID: EE102936959
Email: info@euronlab.eu

2. Your Original File

PRIVATE NOTARY is designed so that the original file selected for proof creation or verification is processed locally on your device.

The original file is not intentionally uploaded to EuronLab merely to create or verify a proof.

Cryptographic values derived from the file are used to create or verify the proof. These values are not intended to enable EuronLab to reconstruct the original file.

3. Information We May Process

Depending on how you use the service, we may process limited information such as:

  • payment and transaction identifiers;
  • information supplied by our payment processor;
  • proof or order identifiers and technical status information;
  • blockchain transaction identifiers and related public blockchain data;
  • IP address and basic security or server logs;
  • browser, device and technical diagnostic information;
  • communications you send to us; and
  • information necessary to comply with legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention or regulatory obligations.

We seek to minimise the personal data processed by the service.

4. Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. Payment-card details are handled by the payment provider according to its own terms and privacy practices. EuronLab does not need to receive or store your full payment-card number in order to provide PRIVATE NOTARY.

5. Purposes and Legal Bases

We process personal data where necessary to:

  • provide and complete the service you request;
  • process payments and maintain transaction records;
  • operate, secure and troubleshoot the service;
  • prevent fraud and abuse;
  • respond to support requests;
  • comply with accounting, tax, legal and regulatory obligations; and
  • establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Depending on the processing activity, the legal basis may include performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, or consent where consent is required.

6. Blockchain Data

Public blockchain records are inherently different from ordinary database records. Information successfully written to a public blockchain may be publicly accessible and may be practically impossible for EuronLab to alter or delete.

For this reason, PRIVATE NOTARY is designed not to place the user’s original file or ordinary personal information onto the blockchain.

7. Service Providers and International Transfers

We may use third-party service providers necessary to operate PRIVATE NOTARY, including payment processing, hosting, infrastructure, blockchain connectivity, security and technical services.

These providers may process limited personal data where necessary to perform their services. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for processing and international transfers of personal data.

8. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, tax, security and dispute-resolution requirements.

Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information and applicable legal obligations. Public blockchain records are not controlled in the same way as records stored in our own systems and may remain available indefinitely.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

PRIVATE NOTARY may use technologies that are strictly necessary for security, payment processing and operation of the service.

If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising or other technologies requiring consent, we will provide the appropriate information and consent controls before using them where required by law.

10. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal data, including the rights to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict certain processing, object to certain processing, receive applicable data in portable form, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, contact info@euronlab.eu.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No internet-based system can, however, be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. Children

PRIVATE NOTARY is not specifically directed at children. Where applicable law requires parental or guardian consent for the processing of a child’s personal data, the service should only be used with the required authorisation.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, technology or legal requirements change. The current version and its effective date will be published on the PRIVATE NOTARY website.
